Holcim UK supplies innovative sustainable building solutions to the UK construction industry. The Lead HGV Tipper Driver role delivers primary and recycled aggregates and asphalt while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and vehicle care.
Working Monday to Friday days from the Great Yarmouth location on a casual contract with five days anticipated each week. You will operate regionally across the Midland Area handling tipper loads with full attention to vehicle condition and site safety.
The position sits within a respected team that places strong emphasis on health and safety. Daily work relies on smartphone apps for delivery tickets and initial training modules delivered through e-learning tools.
Career progression is supported through higher licence qualifications and courses leading into assessing and training roles. Opportunities exist for advancement both within the UK and internationally.
Requirements
- Valid Category C licence
- Good geographical knowledge of the Derbyshire and Staffordshire region
- Excellent awareness of safety and its application to driving
- Comfortable using apps and e-learning tools for tickets and training
- Able to speak with colleagues and customers confidently
Responsibilities
- Deliver primary and recycled aggregates and asphalt to customer sites
- Maintain the highest standards of professionalism and vehicle care
- Complete all delivery tickets using smartphone apps
- Follow safety procedures and input safety awareness into daily driving
- Operate tipper vehicles on a Monday to Friday days pattern
