
About this role
McBride Consulting has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Logistics Manager providing support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/ISR SOF (AFLCMC/HB). This role supports the AWACS (E3), Wedgetail (E7), and International Airborne Battle Management Command and Control (FMS) Division.
Leading logistics management operations for mission requirements, you will provide critical inputs to Request for Proposals, Statements of Work, and Acquisition Strategy documentation. You will validate logistics contract deliverables and identify funding, manpower, materials, facilities, and services needs.
Day-to-day work involves participating in Integrated Product Teams, assessing supply chain risks, and conducting Logistics Health Assessments. You will also manage Government Furnished Equipment and Contractor Acquired Property programs while ensuring compliance with DoD asset management policies.
This full-time position is located at Fort Meade, MD, with opportunities to support geographically dispersed units CONUS and OCONUS. You will prepare alternative logistics strategies as programs evolve and develop Life Cycle Sustainment Plans for the ISR SOF portfolio.
Requirements
- Must be a US citizen
- Must have a Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a professional discipline from an accredited educational program and 12 years of directly related experience, 5 of which must be in the DoD
- OR Master's Degree in a professional engineering discipline with equivalent experience
- Experience leading logistics operations in a DoD or Air Force environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) for planning, analysis, and reporting
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute logistics management operations supporting mission requirements and designated programs
- Provide logistics inputs to Request for Proposals (RFPs), including system specifications, Statements of Work, and Acquisition Strategy Panel documentation
- Conduct validation and documentation on Logistics Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) deliverables
- Identify critical logistics needs including funding, manpower, materials, facilities, and services
- Develop and align logistics requirements with DoD and USAF policy and procedures
- Lead and participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and cross-functional groups
- Assess and implement risk mitigation strategies for supply chain assurance and Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM)
- Manage and implement Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Contractor Acquired Property (CAP) programs
