As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will assume a lead role when direction and supervision are needed, complementing supervisors and management. You will maintain supply inventory records through daily counts and scheduled cycle counts, ensuring staff follow standard protocols for issuing supplies from the centralized storeroom.

You will identify expired items and verify inventory quality using FIFO methodology, periodically inspect package integrity, and ensure staff compliance with storeroom cleanliness. Training staff on inventory issuance and record keeping is a key part of the role, tracking charges and flow from entry to nursing and patient care areas.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Three years of stockroom experience.
May require a valid Georgia driver's license and insurable driving record.
Ability to lift 50 pounds and to bend, stoop, and twist.
Some positions may require passing a DOT physical.

Responsibilities

Assume a lead role when direction and supervision are needed to complement supervisors, management, and other dependent leadership.
Maintain supply inventory records by daily count and on-hand justification through scheduled cycle counts.
Ensure staff follow standard protocol for issuance of supplies from the centralized storeroom.
Identify expired items and verify inventory quality using FIFO methodology.
Periodically inspect inventory for package integrity and ensure staff compliance with storeroom cleanup, including trash removal and floor sweeping.
Assist with staff training for inventory issuance and record keeping to track charges and flow from point of entry to nursing, patient care areas, and ancillary departments.
Participate in or oversee training activities for storeroom initiatives as directed by department leadership and management.
