About this role
INTECH Automation & Intelligence is seeking a Procurement Manager to play a crucial role in ensuring the timely acquisition of all project materials and services for EPC projects. This role demands deep understanding of EPC procurement processes, vendor management, contract negotiations, and supply chain optimization.
Day-to-day, you will develop and execute procurement plans aligned with project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services. You will negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with suppliers while overseeing the entire supply chain to avoid delays and resolve bottlenecks, and monitor procurement costs to identify cost savings opportunities.
You will work closely with engineering, project management, and other departments to align procurement activities with project goals. You will coordinate to define material specifications and ensure procurement aligns with technical requirements for final project delivery on schedule and within budget.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in procurement, specifically within EPC projects.
- Proven expertise in managing the procurement of materials and services for large-scale industrial or oil and gas projects.
- Strong knowledge of contract negotiation, supplier management, and project procurement strategies.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Knowledge of international trade regulations, shipping logistics, and customs clearance processes.
- Certification in supply chain or procurement (CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement plans aligned with project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with suppliers to secure favorable contracts while maintaining quality and budget control.
- Oversee the entire supply chain process to avoid delays, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure materials are delivered to meet project deadlines.
- Coordinate with engineering and project management teams to define material specifications, ensuring procurement aligns with technical requirements.
- Monitor and manage procurement costs to ensure alignment with project budgets, identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Anticipate potential risks in the supply chain, such as delays or shortages, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, project requirements, and industry standards, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
