About this role

The Project Procurement & Logistics Manager serves as the single interface to the Project Manager or Project Procurement Leader, coordinating all sourcing, procurement, and logistics activities across a portfolio of projects.

This role owns fulfilment of procurement commitments including on-time delivery, quality, and cost as negotiated by the sourcing team while managing material budgets and supplier performance.

Working at Grid Solutions within GE Vernova, the position collaborates with engineering, quality, planning, and logistics teams on turnkey projects, HV substations, and electrical balance of plant serving global power utilities.

Opportunities exist to support an $8B project backlog and advance reliable power delivery from generation to end consumers through advanced grid technologies and decarbonization efforts.

Requirements

Experience coordinating sourcing, procurement, and logistics on project portfolios
Ability to manage procurement budgets and supplier milestone recognition
Proficiency in establishing procurement schedules and progress tracking
Skill in cross-functional coordination with engineering and sourcing teams
Experience overseeing supplier claims and contractual compliance
Capability to generate and follow up on actions from project meetings

Responsibilities

Own quality, costs, and on-time delivery of materials and services for the project
Establish the procurement schedule and perform periodic progress monitoring
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery of supplier documents
Monitor material budgets and coordinate timely issuance of purchase requisitions
Ensure timely closure of supplier NCPs and support claim management activities
Review supplier fulfilment of contractual requirements for customs and duties
Report monthly progress, supplier claims, and project cost summaries
Represent procurement in internal and external project meetings
