We are seeking a strategic Senior Procurement Manager to lead procurement for the Chillers Product Business Unit.
You will report to the Director of Procurement and serve as a key member of the PBU leadership team. The role focuses on driving growth and profitability through innovative procurement solutions in a rapidly expanding business. You will manage an annual spend of approximately $1B while supporting new product introductions.
You will lead a team of six buyers and foster a high-performing, collaborative environment. Strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers are essential, supported by high emotional intelligence and effective communication. The position requires working within a matrix organization to deliver results.
This role offers the opportunity to shape procurement strategy and implement sustainable practices across the global supply chain. You will negotiate complex contracts, drive continuous improvement, and develop team capabilities through coaching and continuing education. The position includes up to 10% global and domestic travel.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or equivalent; an MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 6-10 years of experience in a multinational organization.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a Strategic Sourcing role, preferably with Direct Materials.
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams within a matrix environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle ambiguity and complex situations.
- Working knowledge of SAP or other equivalent ERP systems.
- Experience negotiating complex supply contracts.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new sourcing opportunities with a focus on business expansion and category growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Develop and coach a team of six buyers, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
- Collaborate with the PBU leadership team to define and execute strategic procurement initiatives.
- Provide comprehensive procurement support for new product introductions within the PBU.
- Secure optimal pricing, terms, and quality through strategic negotiations with critical suppliers.
- Ensure team compliance with established procurement processes and participate in continuous improvement efforts.
- Identify and implement sustainable procurement practices within the global supply chain.
