In this role you will support the import/export department with customs and transportation matters.

Daily work centers on import and export declarations, handling Letters of Credit, and organizing transportation through direct contact with carriers and brokers. You will also manage transport complaints, follow up on logistics tasks, and coordinate activities across the team while identifying process improvements.

You will have the opportunity to build expertise through targeted training in AEO, Origin, Classification of goods, Customs value, bonded warehouse, and customs permits. Prior experience in customs brokerage or carrier environments is highly desirable for success in this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics or equivalent professional experience
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and verbal
  • Experience with SAP and Stream Software
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Punctual, flexible, and a collaborative team player
  • Eagerness to undergo training in AEO, Origin, Classification of goods, Customs value, bonded warehouse, and customs permits
  • Prior experience in customs brokerage or carrier environments is highly desirable

Responsibilities

  • Handle import and export declarations and related customs processes
  • Manage Letters of Credit for international shipments
  • Organize transportation and maintain contact with carriers and brokers
  • Resolve transport complaints and follow up on logistics issues
  • Instruct and coordinate daily logistics tasks across the team
  • Identify and implement improvements for personal and team processes
