About this role

Alliance Automotive Logistics, the distribution arm of Alliance Automotive Group, operates over 77 Distribution Centres across 8 countries, rooted in service excellence. We deliver over 250,000 parts to garages across Europe and are looking for a Warehouse Operative.

The Warehouse Operative will keep the warehouse fully stocked and ensure courier collections leave the branch timely. Duties include picking orders, loading vans, coordinating dispatch, and checking supplier deliveries for shortages or damage. Assist with a rolling stock taking program to maintain accurate inventory.

You must hold a counterbalance FLT licence, with pivot licence training provided. Weekend availability is required as the shift pattern includes Saturday and Sunday. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. The role offers a four-day working week.

Requirements

Valid counterbalance FLT licence (in date, accredited).
Demonstrated good time keeping.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
Weekend availability – shift pattern includes Saturday and Sunday.
Attention to detail for accurate order picking and stock checking.
Ability to operate pivot lift (training provided if needed).

Responsibilities

Pick customer orders accurately and load vans, making regular checks for correctness.
Oversee dispatch of orders and coordinate courier collections to ensure timely departure.
Check and put away supplier deliveries, reporting any shortages or damaged stock to your line manager.
Assist with a rolling stock taking program to ensure all stock is correctly located.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Operate counterbalance forklift to handle stock as required.
Ensure warehouse is fully stocked and maintained.
