About this role
Responsible for leading and optimizing end-to-end logistics operations across the United States, ensuring safe, compliant, cost-effective, and on-time movement of goods. This role oversees transportation, warehousing, inventory, and distribution activities, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.
Day-to-day, you will plan, direct, and oversee domestic inbound and outbound logistics operations while managing transportation modes including truckload, less-than-truckload, intermodal, and rail. You will track KPIs such as OTIF, freight cost per unit, inventory turns, and warehouse productivity, and proactively work with Loss Prevention on claims and anomalies.
You will work closely with distribution centers on ASN issues and liaise with local freight forwarders for retriggers. The role involves collaboration with ERP, WMS, and external systems to drive process standardization, automation, and data-driven decision-making, and supports network optimization and warehouse layout initiatives.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or related field, or 7-10 years progressive experience in logistics or supply chain operations.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. logistics, transportation, and warehousing practices.
- Proven experience managing carriers, 3PLs, and distribution partners.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in logistics and ERP systems.
- Strong planning, organization, interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; ability to handle multiple priorities.
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and oversee domestic inbound and outbound logistics operations, supporting the overall logistics team.
- Manage transportation modes including truckload (TL), less-than-truckload (LTL), intermodal, and rail.
- Ensure customer service levels and on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery targets are met.
- Manage carrier performance and service reliability.
- Analyze cost drivers and implement cost-reduction initiatives.
- Track and report KPIs such as OTIF, freight cost per unit, inventory turns, and warehouse productivity.
- Drive process standardization, automation, and data-driven decision-making.
- Serve as Loss Prevention Liaison, proactively working on claims for losses and running daily UPS reports to track anomalies.
