This role has a strong focus on stock handling, health and safety, and customer service in our busy yard. You'll be part of an active team handling customer orders and loading/unloading stock. Hours are Monday to Friday, 06:30 - 16:30.

Requirements

High levels of customer service with frequently returning customers
Enthusiasm and unyielding passion for the merchant world

Responsibilities

Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects
Get to know our product lines so you can offer advice and help to customers
Pick and prepare customer orders, load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using forklifts
Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products
Maintain stock levels in all yard/warehouse areas, carrying out regular stock counts
Keep the branch looking clean and tidy to make a great first impression
Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how to keep yourself and others safe
